Adelaide SA 5000
The SA German Association presents Schützenfest 2017 – Im Clubhaus.
Adelaide’s famous German “Shooting” festival can’t be held at its preferred location in Rymill Park this year due to the O-Bahn works currently in progress.
Instead it will come home to the German Club at “223 Flinders Street”. So rain, hail or shine, it makes no difference as we are undercover and fully air-conditioned.
The Clubrooms will be in an Oktoberfest setting with all 3 floors active.
Our Chefs will be preparing traditional German fare, including our famous Schnitzels, Schwienehaxe and Currywurst with Pretzels and German Hotdogs as snacks.
A great range of German cakes will be available for those with a sweet tooth to enjoy with tea of coffee.
The bars are stocked with Adelaide’s largest range of imported German beer with wine, Jägermeister and Schnapps to top off our drinks offerings.
The Schützenfest 2017 King, Queen and Open Shooting Competition with be fought out on the top floor in our Shooting Range with the help of the German Shooting Group.
We have traditional German entertainment including the Bund der Bayern and Deutscher Volkstanzkreis dancers, the Adelaide German Band, the Accordion Group Elite and Capricorn providing it’s renowned Hofbrauhaus show.
Friday night we have Clearway, Saturday afternoon the New Romantics and Rushmore at 9pm.
Sunday is family day so bring the kids and enjoy all we have to offer.
Tickets are $15 at the door, kids under 18 are free. Proof of age is required.
